This guide published by the Department of Public Instruction in Wisconsin describes what the special education law says and means in user-friendly language. Topics covered are: IEP process, evaluation procedures, IEP team participants, eligibility determination, IEP development, placement, re-evaluation, other school choices, mediation, and discipline issues.

Helps parents, teachers, and others by providing them with information to foster the skills, strategies and confidence necessary to nurture and empower deaf-blind children.
National Center on Accessing the General Curriculum (NCAC)
Provides a vision of how new curricula, teaching practices, and policies can be woven together to practially improve access to the general curriculum. The site includes highly useful case stories and publications.
The IRIS Center for Faculty Enhancement
Aims to ensure that general education teachers, school administrators, school nurses, and school counselors are well prepared to work with students who have disabilities and with their families.

This national project out of the University of Kansas develops tools and resources that support students with special needs in general education settings.
