Access Center

This national project out of the University of Kansas develops tools and resources that support students with special needs in general education settings.

The IRIS Center aims to ensure that general education teachers, school administrators, school nurses, and school counselors are well prepared to work with students who have disabilities and with their families.

This link provides a vision of how new curricula, teaching practices, and policies can be woven together to practically improve access to the general curriculum. The site includes highly useful case stories and publications.

DB-LINK helps parents, teachers, and others by providing them with information to foster the skills, strategies and confidence necessary to nurture and empower deaf-blind children.
