The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) www.ccsso.org/ The CCSSO is a nationwide, non profit organization that has served as an independent voice on federal education policy since 1927. In representing the chief educational administrators, the Council speaks on behalf of state education agencies and carries national influence commensurate with this position.
CAST
www.cast.org CAST is a leader in curricular adaptation and the Universal Design for Learning concept. CAST has developed versatile, digital curricular materials, educational software, on-line publications, and other Web-based tools to promote the use of technology to make curricula accessible to students with disabilities.
The Regional Resource Center (RRC) Network www.dssc.org/frc/rrfc.htm
The six RRCs are specifically funded to assist state education agencies in the systemic improvement of education programs, practices, and policies that affect children and youth with disabilities. The RRCs help states and U.S. jurisdictions find integrated solutions for systemic reform. They offer consultation, information services, technical assistance, training, and product development assistance.
The Mountain Plains Regional Resource Center (MPRRC) www.usu.edu/mprrc/ The MPRRC is one of six regional resource centers coordinated by the Federal Resource Center. It has more than 25 years of experience providing technical assistance and problem-solving services, and conducting workshops and training activities with state and local educators nationwide.
