Our Team
Peter Ascosi joined AIR as a Research
Assistant in March 2004. His responsibilities with the Access Center
include providing support for the technical assistance liaisons in the
Northeast and Great Lakes regions, maintaining the website, and working
on the marketing team.
Peter also works on quick turnaround policy requests and communication
projects under the Department of Education's Office of Special Programs'
(OSEP) task order contract.
Prior to joining AIR, Peter was an intern and editorial assistant at
the Eigen-Arnett Educational & Cultural Foundation where he maintained
and helped develop a database of political and historical quotations.
He also worked as an intern during the summer of 2003 at the U.S. English
Foundation. He was tasked with researching English as a Second Language
(ESL) programs and providing non-profit management support to the Director
of Special Programs.
Peter graduated from Mount Saint Mary's College in December 2003 with
a B.A. in History. He is a member of the Phi Alpha Theta honors society.
